Celebrating International Women's Day with Linda Grier Hanson

As International Women's Day dawns upon us, it's the perfect time to celebrate the remarkable journey and achievements of Linda Grier Hanson, the visionary owner of Greenery Productions. With her passion for creativity and dedication to excellence, Linda has not only carved a niche for herself but has also become a symbol of inspiration for women entrepreneurs.

Linda majored in Horticulture at Southern Illinois where her career in the floral and foliage industry spans over four plus decades, beginning back in 1988 when she welcomed Greenery Productions into this enchanting world. Reflecting on the evolution of interiorscape trends over the years, Linda reminisces about the dynamic shifts she witnessed the changing seasons in fashion.

Transitioning into the new millennium, Linda found herself embracing the wave of green space, moss walls, plant maintenance, event floral and foliage, and holiday décor.  Inspired by exotic locales, tropical flowers such as orchids, ferns, birds of paradise, and hibiscus took center stage, infusing events and hotels with a vibrant charm. She has even had her work on the Ellen Show as well as many other production sets.

 Fast forward to the present day, and Linda's keen eye for trends continues to shape the landscape of florals and foliage. The big, flowing arrangements adorned with draping foliage echoes a profound connection with nature—a theme that resonates deeply with Linda and her professional horticulture team at Greenery Productions.

Beyond her role as the driving force behind Greenery Productions, Linda is also an active member of the Central Florida Hotel & Lodging Association (CFHLA), showcasing her commitment to community engagement and collaboration within the Orlando area.

Before Greenery Productions, Linda's journey began amidst the enchanting landscapes of Disney's horticulture division—an experience that undoubtedly laid the groundwork for her future endeavors and ignited her passion for botanical beauty.
