Supporting our Heroes: Bluelight Gala

In the heart of Orlando, amidst the glitz and glamour of the Rosen Plaza, a solemn yet powerful event took place on February 17th, 2024 – the 12th annual Blue Light Gala. Hosted by the Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S), this gala stands as a beacon of remembrance and support for the families of fallen law enforcement officers.

Greenery Productions, a leading figure in event design and floral arrangements, proudly stood as a sponsor for this significant occasion. Ashley Hall, Sales Director at Greenery Productions, along with Dennis Hall from the Clermont Police Department, attended the gala, representing the bond between the community and its guardians.

The Blue Light Gala isn't just another event; it's a lifeline for those left behind. In 2021, the year prior, marked the deadliest period for law enforcement officers in history, underscoring the importance of initiatives like the Blue Light Gala.

C.O.P.S, a 501(c)(3) charity, operates nationally with over 47,000 volunteer members and 50 chapters across the country. The Central Florida chapter, a volunteer-based organization, provides crucial support to families of fallen officers throughout the region.

For survivors, the Blue Light Gala is more than just an evening of remembrance; it's a chance to honor and cherish the memories of their loved ones. Project Blue Light, born out of a mother's grief in 1988, now shines as a symbol of hope and unity for the 15,000 surviving families across America.

Greenery Productions' contribution to the event was not merely floral centerpieces and foliage; it was a symbol of solidarity and compassion. Each arrangement carried with it the collective spirit of a community rallying behind its heroes in blue and white floral.

As we reflect on the significance of events like the Blue Light Gala, let us remember the sacrifices made by law enforcement officers and their families. Let us honor their legacy, their courage, and their unwavering commitment to our safety.
